Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. THERE ARE NO TARIFFS OR CUSTOMS DUTIES ON BOOKS. A detailed, illustrated historical account published in 1904. It documents the architecture, key historical events, and a complete list of vicars for the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, which has existed for nearly 1,000 years. Inscription on second page, light tanning throughout, some foxing throughout as well with the binding being intact.

Lawson, with 18 musical illustrations arranged for part-singing; undated, 32pp. 4 - The National Choir No. 57, March 1892, Standard Songs &c. for part-singing, original and arranged, adapted for choirs, classes, and the home circle, (this publication was issued in four yearly parts, with notes and index); 2 pages from issue No. 4 and pages 65 to 72 and 2 of press notices. 5 - The National Choir No. 67, January 1893, pages 145 to 152. 6 - The National Choir No. 69, March 1893, pages 161 to 168. 7 - The National Choir No. 70, April 1893, pages 169 to 176. 8 - The Life of Christ in Song, selected by Rev. Lawson, undated, 16pp. The book is bound in contemporary purple cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with shelf wear and some soiling and noticeable damp marking to both boards. The spine is faded and the spine ends are lightly bumped. The contents are tight and clean apart from a few small marks, and the original covers to each booklet have been retained. Some of the songs in The Romance of Missions have pencil 'X' marks beside them, and the fore edges of the pages of The Life of Christ in Song have been trimmed very close to the text and this has taken some of the last letters on some pages. There is no inscription.
