Front cover is completely cracked and loose, being held on by the back cover. Front inner hinge has been patched, but has come loose. Previous owners bookplate just inside front cover, with Library name stamped above it, also on the top of title page and on the inside of the back cover. Page edges are browning and unevenly cut, pages are otherwise unmarked. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

Previous owners bookplate on the inside of front cover. There is a crack formed just inside of the title page, where you can see the thread holding the pages to the binding. Library name stamped on the inside of front cover and on the bottom of Title page, there is a set of numbers written in pen '45645'. The title pages and Ads from the volumes can be found in the back of the book. Page edges are browning and cut uneven, pages are unmarked. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

A total of XXIV volumes were produced in total, with multi-volume sets being very scarce.This quarterly journal was 'devoted to the antiquities, parochial records, family history, folklore, quaint customs, etc of the county' of Lincolnshire.Illustrated with seven plates to volume I, nine plates to volume II, nine plates to volume III, nine plates to volume IV, twelve to volume V, eight to volume VI, five to volume VII, eight to volume VIII, eight to volume IX, eight to volume X, nine to volume XI, fifteen to volume XII, and nine to volume XIII. A small number of these plates are folding or in colour.Collated, complete.Edited by Ernest L. Grange and Rev. J. Clare Hudson.In attractive vellum bindings.With the bookplate of Frederick Arthur Crisp to each front pastedown, and the label of C.J. Sturman and Terence R. Leach to front free endpapers. Small closed tear to head of vol III back strip, otherwise externally excellent, with only the odd light handling mark or instance of rubbing to boards. Three front hinges strained but firmly held. Bookplates to front pastedown and front free endpapers. Former owner's notations to front blanks of vol I. Inscription to a front blank of vol IV. Internally, firmly bound. Ink notation to volume I title page. Pages bright, with the odd pencil and ink inscription throughout each volume. Tape repair to one plate of volume XIII. Very Good. book.
