The artwork showcases RETNAs distinctive visual language, where calligraphy, abstraction, and urban aesthetics converge, created on hand-crafted paper *** Acquired directly from the artist RETNA *** Professionally framed in a custom-made deep black wooden frame, handmade in the Netherlands, the artwork is mounted floating on linen. It is glazed with UltraVue® ArtGlass for maximum clarity, UV protection, and minimal reflection. *** Framed dimensions: approx. 50 x 70 cm *** Sheet dimensions: 46 x 61 cm *** Work features one of RETNAs iconic abstract symbols, rendered in bold black brushstrokes. Minimal in color yet rich in visual intensity, the composition conveys both symbolic depth and graphic clarity. *** The drawing reveals a dynamic cluster of black forms set against a blank background. Circles, curves, and block-like shapes come together to form a symbolic, calligraphic figure. The flow of movement across the surface is energetic and deliberate, creating tension between negative space and solid form. RETNA s characteristic linework and rhythmic repetition result in a visual poetry that invites meditation and interpretation *** RETNA (Marquis Lewis) (b. 1979) is an American graffiti artist whose work has been featured in many successful ad campaigns for Nike, Louis Vuitton, and VistaJet. Born in Los Angeles, RETNAs work is influenced by the graffiti of his hometown, but also by early graffiti artists like Basquiat and Keith Haring. His use of a constructed script is a RETNA signature, often mixing hieroglyphs, calligraphy, and illuminated scripts into highly personal messages*** While moored in typographic forms, RETNAs pieces show a surprising amount of depth and texture that only reveal themselves after repeated viewings. It makes sense for an artist who lists the mystical works of many world religions and the Wu-Tang clan as some of his biggest artistic inspirations. RETNA pieces are beautiful, inscrutable, and ask more questions than they answer -- the hallmark of art that is made to stand the test of time ***** FINANCE LEASE AND RENTAL options are available in Switzerland, offering collectors and institutions aflexible and accessible opportunityto enjoy this masterpiece with tailored financial solutions *** In addition, handmade framingoptions are available to enhance the artworks presentation and preservation, ensuring it remains a timeless showpiece in any collection ***WORLDWIDE deliveryis also offered, providing a seamless acquisition process for international buyers ***** For further details regardingpricing, authentication, handmade framing, and global delivery options, pleaseCONTACT US today *** CONDITION : in very good condition ***. …
