Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - 'Some Architectural Problems of To-day' is a book written by C.H. Reilly, a talented architect hailing from England. Through its pages, one can delve into the various styles and design principles used in the early 1900s, as they navigated certain artistic obstacles. Architectural decoration and ornamentation, alongside materials like steel and concrete, are just a few of the topics covered by Reilly. He also touches on how novel technologies affected architects. To further enrich the text, Reilly included photographs and drawings depicting various buildings and specific architectural details. Architectural history and theory enthusiasts will find the book to be of great value as it provides insight into both the challenges and opportunities that architects faced during the turn of the 20th century. It is an important reference that has stood the test of time.
