From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. Robert Wilcox stars as a detective who goes undercover to expose a group of hijackers. 10 x 8 inches. A small crease to the bottom right corner, else Near Fine.

Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. Robert Wilcox was a stage and film actor who appeared in two dozen films between 1937 and 1947. A contract player with Universal Studios, Wilcox is perhaps best known for playing Bob Wayne and his alter ego "The Copperhead" in the 1940 film serial "Mysterious Doctor Satan." His stormy five-year marriage with actress Diana Barrymore, which ended with his death in 1954, was chronicled in Barrymore's 1957 autobiography "Too Much, Too Soon," which Barrymore dedicated to Wilcox. 7.5 x 9.5 inches.
