Encuadernación de tapa blanda. Zustand: Muy bien. Folio. #1 December 1949 - #5 April 1950 / #11 Oct 1950 - #13 December 1950. (8 issues of 15). Wrappers. A rare tabloid type magazine, it had twenty-four pages as a general rule and always maintained the same typographic structure. During the first thirteen numbers it was directed by Raúl Roa himself. The technical and artistic care fell on Felix Pita Rodriguez and Felix Ayon, as well as in the hands of Delia Fiallo and Jorge Tallet in some numbers. It lacked a specially designed cover for that purpose. In its first page there are already works, which usually indicate the predominant theme in the number, or any editorial that is of interest to the Directorate. In the upper part appears headed with the name of the month in question in uppercase and below it appears: Art, Literature, Criticism and History. This structure was maintained until December 1950. Then the magazine had six months of silence, for reasons that I have been unable to decipher, because the causes do not appear and the interviewees are unaware or do not remember. The only three issues that came out after that time, were those of June, July and August 1951. These last copies have some differences with the previous ones. It loses the name of the month and it appears in capital letters and with another typology the word Mensuario and under as subtitle: Art, Literature, History and Criticism. In addition, the magazine's sleeve changes completely. There is no director or editor, only it is recorded that it is a publication of the Ministry of Education. 5,000 copies were distributed for distribution in all cultural centers, and although the budget was requested in September 1949, the first issue was not published until December of that year.
