They have some sunning, some wear about the seams, some scuffing and marking. The corners have been knocked. They are healthy, pleasing, secure. The binding at the end papers is a little cracked, but the security of the book is unaffected. The contents are also pleasing. Joyfully illustrated by Dore. Whilst they have some evidence of amiable use, the pages are clean, clear, eager, convivial, comfortable.
