The book outlines the physical and mental exercises that will alieviate nervous tension: 'simple physical and psychological principles to the solving of problems of everyday living.' The illustrations are by Mildred Orrick, a fashion designer who worked for Janice Milan, Townley Frocks, Darlyn Junior, Anne Fogarty, and Villager Clothes.
