Palanichamy (b. 1978) is presently Assistant Professor of History in Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Musiri, Tamilnadu (India). He obtained his M.A. degree (2002) in History with first class from H.K.R.H. College, Uthamapalayam, Tamil Nadu and M.Phil. degree (2003) with first class from Pondicherry University, Puducherry. He completed his Ph.D. (2009) under the guidance of Dr. Venkata Raghotham from Pondicherry University. He has started his teaching carrier as Guest Lecturer at the Department of History in Thiru A. Govindasamy Government Arts College, Tindivanam then he was appointed as Assistant Professor of History in Government Arts College at Ariyalur by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2011, where he served two years. His various research works have been published in different journals in the national and international level.
