Romae (Rome) 1841, engraved frontispiece (burning of books) + xlviii + 422 pp + ca. 250 nn pp**, bound in contemporary half leather, smooth spine with gilt title, ex-library with two 19th c. library stamps on the title page. ** Bound in at the end are all the books which were put on the index after this catalogue was published (1841). Nearly every two or three months the Papal authority added new publications to the list; e.g. Decretum die 18 Augusti 1841, 16 Septembris 1841 , 28 januarii 1842 , 5 Aprilis 1842 . until 18 Februarii 1868. So over a period of over 25 years, second half of the 19th c. we can follow the steps of Papal censorship.

Romae (Rome) 1819, engraved frontispiece (by Gioan. Fabri - represents the burning of books) + xliv + 361 pp + (36) pp (several additional ''decreta'' published in 1821-1826). Bound in blind boards, covered with blue marbled paper. Sine with some wear resulting in the disappearence of the blue color, some minimal wear at binding. Still a good acceptable copywithout any provenance indications.

Romae (Roma), 1770, Ex Typographia Rev. Cameræ Apostholicæ, xxxxviii pp + 320 pp + 13 pp (supplement). Bound in contemporary full roan ; with title label on spine ( only partially preserved); leather of binding is worn and scratched but binding is technically in good order. Marbled edges, interior fine, no provenance indication.
