Reeve is famous mostly for the 82 Craig Kennedy stories, published in Cosmopolitan magazine between 1910 and 1918. These were collected in book form; with the third collection, the short stories were published grouped together as episodic novels. The 12-volume publication Craig Kennedy Stories was released during 1918; it reissued Reeve's books-to-date as a matched set. The Adventuress was the first full-length novel to feature scientific detective Craig Kennedy. Contains 244 pp. Cheap paper tanning to the closed text block edges, feint pencil name to the half-title. Very Good condition book in Very Good condition dust wrapper with one small chip to the bottom front edge, spine not faded with the paper being particularly crisp and bright. Last book listed to the inside rear flap, first edition by Harper and Brothers was first published in 1917. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection. Member of the P.B.F.A.
