Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 2nd Edition. A very nice copy of the 1950 edition of the Edicts of Asoka, along with some extra documents. Pages are very good, with no inscriptions or markings and are bright and clear. Binding is excellent. Blue boards are very nice and have retained their colour well. Just a little natural age wear. Gilt lettering still vivid. There are several extra documents included with our copy (see photos) relating to the inaugural meeting of the Ashoka Chakra movement, in Madras on March 1st 1950.
