Twelvemo, [two volumes], 24pp; 24pp. Printed pamphlet in original wraps, labeled No. 1 and No. 2. Bound at spine with string. Likely printed in 1863 or 1864. Light toning and spotting in both volumes, not affecting text. (Sabin 14447) (Ante-Fire Imprints, 617) (OCLC 49498241) Only pamphlet "No. 2" can be found in public collections. A scarce ante-fire imprint from Chicago. Revered N.G. Collins served as the Chaplain of the 57th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. Full title reads: Speech of the Rev. N.G. Collins to Regiments in Gen. Dodge's Division, on the Intellectual Condition of the South, compared with the North; with its bearing upon the present Rebellion.
