Colour frontis and eight other plates plus line drawings in text. This is a fair copy only: covers rubbed, base of spine missing, binding shaky in places. Unpaginated but there may be a page missing in Chapter VII. A few pages tanned but the book is generally bright especially the plates. There are no inscriptions but some very small library stamps towards the end of the book.

About half of the illustrations have had their lines drawn over with pencil. This could probably be mostly erased if desired. There are also a few pen marks to some illustrations, and a pen scribble on the rear board. Also some general smudging and marks and moderate stains to most leaves. There is moderate creasing near the top of the front board. Also included with this book is one other from the series in poor and incomplete condition: "Peek-a-Boo Jill". The Jill book has several (4?) leaves missing, and only 4 leaves present, which are all detached and heavily worn and chipped. It has an owner's inscription dated 1918. ; 8vo.
