Students have to refer various books monographs and periodicals to collect the information for various courses offered in the field of agrometeorology. The present textbook is written to satisfy the various course requirements. The subject matter is both narrative and critical. Illustration have been added to make the subject matter all the more clear. At the end of each chapter a list of references have been given from which most of the material in the chapter is drawn. These references will also help the post graduate students for further reading. At the end of all chapter a list of terminology of agrometeorology has also been included to help students know about terms of agrometeorology. The authors acknowledge their indebtedness to the authors of various books monographs and periodicals from which they have drawn the matter in this textbook.
