Has previously argued that the church failed in its duty to campaign against the death penalty before the effective campaign led by Ludo Kennedy, Harold Evans etc esp. re the Timothy Evans Evans case. Now, looking at both the US and the UK, he expresses concern (in 1993) about a possible re-introduction. Fast forward to Trump's views, and even a recent Home Secretary, Priti Patel, is reputed to have previously favoured its re-introduction. 12 pages. Quoted postage for UK 2nd class.
