In den Warenkorb20 x 20 x 6cm. Limited edition. Signed and numbered on accompanying limitation sheet, numbered as 26 of total run of 100 copies. A stunning, playful limited edition handmade artist's 'book' by Frederica Postman and Saratoga artist Bonnie Stone comprising twenty-six loose letterpress folders containing physical collages - including pop-ups, transparencies, pockets, items of fabric / clothing, a moveable puppet, a small feathered cap, fine print typographical art, etc. - wrapped in black paper titled wrap, housed in a see-through Plexiglas plastic box. The production is an artistic rumination on the practice of collecting and accumulation, a passion in which Postman's family were adept. The introductory statement declares "The True Collector craves the pleasure of possessing objects that are meaningful, beautiful, valuable and rare". Postman's own imprint, P'Nye Press, is a play on the Hebrew word 'pnai' meaning 'leisure'. Slight age-crazing to the glued edges of the fragile plastic outer container, otherwise near fine condition.
