In den WarenkorbSpecial edition of 50 copies only, 25 for the United States, and 25 for Great Britain, of which this is no. 7 for the United States. Octavo, 12 leaves; 10 page extract from The American Angler vol. 2, no. 8 on the Walton memorial window, with pictorial upper wrapper and the original envelope in which the volume was sent out inserted, print articles from 'The Field' (1921) on Walton and angling mounted to endpapers. In original grey paper boards, green cloth to spine, titles printed to paper label on upper cover. Corners slightly bumped, shelf-wear to spine, a few spots of soiling. Paperclip mark to first leaf, very occasional toning and offsetting to select leaves. A very good copy. An eclectic collection of print documents related to Izaak Walton and angling, instantiated by the erection of a memorial window to Walton at Winchester Cathedral. Walton was the author of 'The Compleat Angler' (1653), the capstone in the canon of antiquarian angling books. A highly sought after volume of Waltoniana. Limited edition so inevitable rare. WorldCat locates 5 copies only in institutional libraries, all of them in the North-Eastern United States. Not in Coigney.
