For this reason an analysis of German and English grammars and research papers dealing with the classification of exclamative sentences is necessary. The analysis will focus on the following questions and problems:¿ Is there a sentence type ¿exclamative sentence¿, which can be unambiguously characterised and identified ¿ If so, can exclamative sentences be regarded as a basic sentence type alongside declarative, interrogative and imperative sentences ¿ If not, what are exclamative sentences Do they belong to the basic sentence types or are they a minor sentence type The analysis will proceed in the following fashion. First, I will analyse German grammars and papers regarding exclamative sentences, including their use and meaning. Second, I will continue the analysis with English grammars and papers. A summary after each part will restate the results of the analysis. Third, in a concluding section the results will be restated shortly. Hierbei liegt der Schwerpunkt auf der Auswahl und Abstufung der Wortschatzelemente sowie der Sprachaufnahmephase. Im Mittelpunkt der Arbeit steht die Analyse und Bewertung von ausgesuchten Lernprogrammen hinsichtlich der Wortschatzvermittlung anhand des Kriterienkataloges. Die Ergebnisse zeigen die Stärken und Schwächen der untersuchten Lernprogramme. Der Kriterienkatalog soll außerdem Anforderungen an die Autoren und Entwickler von Englischlernprogrammen im Bereich der Wortschatzvermittlung stellen.Eine kritische Prüfung der Lernprogramme ist durch die steigende Anzahl von neuen Programmen für den frühbeginnenden Englischunterricht notwendig geworden. Viele Verlage haben auf die fast flächendeckende Einführung des frühbeginnenden Englischunterrichts an den Grundschulen in Deutschland mit einem breiten Spektrum an neuen Materialien reagiert. Neben den herkömmlichen Materialien berücksichtigen die meisten Verlage die verstärkte Nutzung der elektronischen Medien in den Schulen und zu Hause und bringen zusätzlich Lernprogramme für den frühbeginnenden Englischunterricht auf den Markt. Mit diesen Lernprogrammen, die oft von den Eltern als motivierende Alternative zu Büchern gesehen werden, sollen die Schüler mit Spaß und Freude sowie kin-derleicht und mühelos Englisch lernen.
