Light blue cloth covers generally clean though a few minor surface marks of little consequence, virtually unworn, hint of darkening to spine. An attractive book aimed for a popular readership as an introductory text, with a quite interesting Preface explaining the translator's approach and the modifications she has made (inc.adding references!) to Petiscus's original German work which had gone up to 20 editions.
