The 41 striking plates (out of 50) show some of the finest and highly sophisticated pieces of the period, such as wrought-iron gates, balconies, hand railings, etc. Moderate shelf-wear and age-toning along edges of portfolio. Previous owner's stamp (architect Americo Bonaba) on front board, and at lower margin of list of plates. Title slightly age-toned. Unfortunately, this remarkable work lacks the following nine plates: 12, 13, 16, 29, 30, 36, 37, 42, and 43. Title, list of plates, and captions in French. Binding in overall good, interior in very good condition.
