An early uncredited role for Carole Lombard, who performs the song "You Appeal to Me." A young man is set to inherit a large sum from his uncle on the caveat that he learn the ways of the world beforehand. As such, he enlists three chorus girls to guide him around the underbelly of New York City. Set in New York. Tall white titled self wrappers, noted as RELEASE DIALOGUE SCRIPT on the front wrapper, dated April 18, 1930. Draft script for the 1922 film. The film is now considered lost. Tess (Wanda Hawley) is a social climber who is neglected by her hardworking husband, David (Edward Hearn). She decides to go on a date with ex-suitor Arthur Sinclair (Casson Ferguson) to a casino, which is robbed while they are there. Her rings are taken and she lies to her husband but looks like a fool when the rings turn up at the police station. She writes a letter to Sinclair explaining everything, but the letter falls into the hands of her housekeeper who sells it to the gang leader who robbed the casino, who blackmails Tess for $15,000. White titled self wrappers, with credits for screenwriters Will Payne, and Percy Heath. Title page integral with front wrapper. 109 leaves, with last page of text numbered 119. Carbon typescript. Revised Final Script for the 1932 pre-Code film, an early starring role for Carole Lombard. Rubber stamped as a Paramount File Copy at the top right corner of the front wrapper. Penelope Newbold is a wealthy divorcee looking to remarry. She falls for her physician, Dr. Karl Bemis, but ends up marrying Bill Hanaway. Bill then has an affair with another woman. Tall peach side stapled self wrappers, noted as Third Buff Script on the front wrapper, dated October 6, 1931, with credits for writers Hughes, Heath, Buchman, and Leahy. 205 leaves on peach stock, mimeograph duplication, with annotations throughout.

Vintage French pressbook for the lost 1927 silent film. Two competitive collegiate brothers, Jim and Ralph Treadway (James Hall and Richard Arlen) are both in love with the vivacious Carol Fleming, played by Louise Brooks. Rare. Two years after the release of "Rolled Stockings," frustrated with the middling roles she was receiving in Hollywood, Brooks left for Germany and starred in the three feature films that launched her to international stardom, "Pandora's Box" (1929), "Diary of a Lost Girl" (1929), and "Miss Europe" (1930). 8.75 x 12.5 inches. 6 pages. Very Good. Top edge of front wrapper unevenly cut as issued. Original string binding now missing, faint evidence of a glue repair, pages now separating at the spine.
