Blayney Percival arrived in East Africa from Arabia where he had been in charge of a British Museum expedition. He was first an Assistant Collector, and in 1901 was appointed Ranger of Game Reserves. Later, he was Chief Game Warden for many years (1915-1923). Special edition produced for The African Collection.

Consisting of a covering page of text and 24 pp of captioned black-and-white photographs, two to each page, with two pages of advertisements at rear. Photographs of wildlife and members of the Meru, Masai, Wakamba, Samburu, Turkana, Waikikuyu tribes. Printed on rectos only, except for last page. Very scarce: no copy in the British Library, or on COPAC. Percival was a game ranger, and published two books on the subject in the 1920s.
