Hubert Peeters (1919-2015) heeft een succesvolle beroepsloopbaan opgebouwd te Brugge en Brussel als medicus en wetenschapper. Daarnaast is hij vooral bekend als een van de eerste en grootste naoorlogse verzamelaars van hedendaagse kunst in Belgie. Zijn legendarische collectie pop-art, met vele belangrijke werken van Marcel Broodthaers, is nu opgenomen in de collecties van het Van Abbemuseum en het MoMa. Peeters was mede-oprichter, met Kaspar Konig en Isy Fiszman, van het kunstenaarsinitiatief A 37 90 89 te Antwerpen in 1969 en gastheer van de stichtingsvergadering in zijn woning in Brugge. Hubert Peeters heeft gedurende zijn hele leven, naast korte artikelen en gelegenheidsteksten over kunst, ook veel poezie geschreven. Deze bundel bevat een selectie van representatieve, niet eerder gepubliceerde minnegedichten. Naast de gedichten bevat de publicatie een portfolio met installatiefoto's van George Segal's Lovers on a bench, het eerste popart-werk dat Hubert Peeters gekocht heeft, evenals twee interviews met Hubert Peeters: de tekst van een interview van Marcel Broodthaers met zijn vriend en verzamelaar, de neerslag van een avondlijk gesprek in het voorjaar van 1967 in het appartement van Peeters aan zee in Oostende, verschenen in Le Point. Journal des Arts Plastiques, 32, en een DVD met een gesprek tussen Bart Verschaffel en Hubert Peeters opgenomen op 9 maart 2013 in Brussel. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - The amount of recent information collected about the molecular composition, structure, and function of the plasma lipoproteins, in man as well as in experimental animals, is very large. In this volume an assessment of our knowledge as it stands today… has been organized within a framework of four general topics, the first about analytical data, the second about structure, the third about metab olism, and the last about molecular variation and pathology. Thus the analytical, theoretical, experimental, and applied aspects of the topic have been treated in conjunction with each other. The analytical data in human and nonhuman primates were obtained after ultracentrifugal or electrophoretic separation of the protein class from the native serum. Comparisons of various methods were not forgotten. The main categories of lipoproteins, namely High Density (HDL), Low Density (LDL), and Very Low Density (VLDL), are treated separately, and lipid moiety and the polypeptide moiety are carefully described. In the theoretical field of reassembly of lipoprotein particles by relipidizing delipidated polypeptides, the structural aspects of lipoprotein and the stabilizing effect of phospholipids on the poly peptide structure were studied. The opposite direction of the pro cess, namely degradation of a lipoprotein by means of lipolytic enzymes, has also been investigated and described.

Olga Komarova-Tobreluts is a pioneer in animation and computer graphic in St. Petersburg art. For five years, she has actively worked in the area of electronic art. She intentionally uses new media as a means of expressing her own system of poetics.
