(Sabin 97102) A very good example of this scarce historical work on earthquakes. This work was first published in Spanish, under the title "Individual y Verdadera Relacion de la extrema ruyna que padeciò la Ciudad de los Reyes Lima," by Pedro Lozano (Sabin 42590). It was anonymously translated into English by Henry Johnson. First edition of A True and Particular Relation of the Dreadful Earthquake which Happen'd at Lima, the Capital of Peru, by Pedro Lozano, complete with maps and plates. (illustrator).
