Frühe Buchillustrationen von Böhmer. Anni Geiger-Hof (1897-1995) war eine Stuttgarter Erzieherin, Schriftstellerin und Verlagslektorin der Stuttgarter Verlage Gundert und Franckh. Sie war bis 1934 mit dem Anarchisten und Gründer der "Bruderschaft der Vagabunden" Gregor Gog verheiratet und gehörte der KPD und dem Bund Proletarisch-Revolutionärer Schriftsteller an. Zu ihren gemeinsamen Freunden zählten Friedrich Wolf, Johannes R. Becher, Theodor Plievier und Erich Mühsam. Beide wurden 1933 verhaftet, Gregor gelang jedoch kurz darauf die Flucht in die Schweiz. 1934 wurde die Ehe geschieden. Nach ihrer Entlassung aus dem KZ Gotteszell bei Schwäbisch Gmünd kehrte Anni Geiger nach Stuttgart zurück und kümmerte sich um Gregor Gogs gleichnamigen Sohn aus erster Ehe, der durch die NS-Rassegesetze bedroht war, da er eine jüdische Mutter hatte.
