Significant soiling and wear to boards, with chipping and exposed board along all edges and numerous stains on covers. Splitting to joints and hinges. Lacking any material on spine; signatures and boards remain bound and attached. Cloth repair to joint on rear board and bottom fore corner of front board. Text block edges are darkly toned with moderate soiling and wear. Lighter age toning and moderate foxing throughout, with faint water damage on pages at the ends of the book. Bottom fore corner of front flyleaf is torn away. Ex-library, with ink stamps on top edge of text block and front pastedown, and penciling on front flyleaf.
