During his time at the BBC, he reported on, and grew close to, four prime ministers: Macmillan, Douglas-Home, Wilson and Heath. Signed by the author on the title page. Pauline Anita Stainer (ne Rogers, born 5 March 1941) is an English poet. She was born Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. She left the city to study at St Anne's College, Oxford, where she took a degree in English. After Oxford she completed an MPhil degree at the University of Southampton. She has collaborated with, and has been published by the Brotherhood of Ruralists About fine. Signedes.
