This is a didactic novel intended to demonstrate, through fiction, how pastoral work should be done, and taking the reader on a journey through the life of a minister. This novel was published anonymously, but is attributed to Harrison Greenough Park (1806-1876) of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Hardcover, good condition. 470 pages, octavo.
