The year 1980 marked four-hundred years since its completion, and preparations for the celebration started two years earlier.This meeting sets out the list of individuals who will be involved in arranging these celebrations, with two additional names handwritten to the tail of the list, and discusses aspects of the history of the house and estate. The use of the gardens, the choice of logo and music, potential pageants, and the scale of the celebrations ate discussed.Also present is a Longleat House card reading 'with the compliments of the Public Relations Office'.
