Profusely illustrated with 5 full-page black and white plates and 118 black and white captioned figures (the last five overlapping with the plates). Green cloth with black letters on the front cover and the spine. Some wear to extremities with one corner just barely rubbed through, top right corner (and internal pages) bumped, bottom of spine slightly bumped, spine shows some rubbing, covers lightly soiled, whole slightly shaken but all there and still firmly bound together, else very good to near fine with all plates and figures present and in fine condition and with no internal markings. No dust jacket. Isabel A.Otty was also the author of THE K.G. TOY-BOX BOOK, THE A.L. COURSE OF CANE-WEAVING, THE A.L. CANVAS- AND RUG-WORK and the like. A thorough instruction book on weaving baskets in the American Indian traditions, for the most part, including British Columbia.
