Small octavos. Each volume approximately 65pp. Illustrated in black and white, several earlier issues with cartoons by Harry Fowler. Stapled wrappers. Six issues with addresses or label residue on the lower wrap, Vol. 6, Number 2 with heavy staining on the cover and first half, otherwise very good and sound; wrappers with toning and the occasional soiled spot or modest wear, staples a bit oxidized, and a couple of issues slightly cocked or with the staples just a bit pulled. A broken run of 26 issues of *Progressive World* magazine, dedicated (according to its "policy") to: rationalism, the complete separation of church and state, the idea that gods and religions are manmade "and the greatest hoaxes ever perpetrated upon humanity," free intellectual growth, and freedom of speech.
