Der Text der vorliegenden 2. Auflage wurde völlig neu bearbeitet und um wesentliche Gesichtspunkte ergänztdem zerebrovaskulären System und den Meningen ist nun ein eigenes Kapitel gewidmet, und die relevanten neuropathologischen und neurologischen Aspekte werden in der Darstellung gebührend berücksichtigt. Einzigartiges Buch der Neuroanatomie Das Buch stellt die Bahnverbindungen des ZNS zeichnerisch sehr exakt dar und lässt den Leser somit die Komplexität dieser Strukturen auf einen Blick erfassen. Die Texte erklären nicht nur rein anatomische Verbindungen, sondern stellen diese auch unter funktionell anatomischen Gesichtspunkten dar. Obgleich das Buch doch sehr umfangreich ist, habe ich in der Zeit meines Medizinstudiums viel Wissenswertes herausgezogen und profitiere heute noch davon.
