Medium cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and plates are lightly tanned throughout. Stamps to front pastedown and endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends.

Hardcover. 8vo. Green cloth with gilt spine lettering and "Titania's Palace" crest. xvi, 208pp. Frontispiece, illustrations. Near fine. Tight, quite attractive indeterminate edition (as apparently are all), circa 1930, of this bizarrity: Wilkinson (1869-1940) was a high level British army officer and officer of arms, all-around he-man and -- designer of dollhouses! One of his two famous dollhouses was "Titania's Palace," and this odd narrative combines an American travelogue with description of the dollhouses many ornate rooms. He actually produced four other travel-centered Titania titles.
