B/W illustrations are the head of each chapter and in-text. The spine strip has faded, is a little wrinkled, and the bottom edge is a little frayed. The boards' corners and part of the bottom edges are bare of paper. The back board has light, shelf wear soiling and has a 1 1/4 in. are that has darkened a little. Four of the plates have scrapes on the illustrations, from pinpoint size to a linear 1/2 in. The non-print side of six plates have scrapes. Scans e-mailed upon request.
