Haywood Nelson was a popular African American child actor best known for his roles in the ABC comedy sitcoms "What's Happening!!" (1976-1979) and "What's Happening Now!!" (1985-1988). The ABC All-Star Saturday Preview Special was an annual variety show special featuring popular performers performing song and dance numbers, and sketch comedy pieces, introducing and previewing the upcoming season of Saturday morning television shows.
