The exterior shows some scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The bottom edge of the spine has a washed out area. The internal binding is overall good. There is a small tear starting at the top of the front board hinge (less than one half of an inch) and there is some scattered minor pulling. The pages are toned due to age and there is some spotting and foxing present, although this is mainly limited to the end pages and page gutter areas. The second front end page has a small tear/chip along the top edge and the opposite page, which is the underside of the frontispiece, contains the original owners name and info written in pencil.
