Six copies of Holiday and Travel Magazine, one each for the months July through December, 1931 (this last issue changed its name to just "TRAVEL"), bound together in dark blue cloth boards. Gilt title to spine. Light rubbing to extremities. Cream endpapers. Bindery sticker to front pastedown. Library reference sticker with ink withdrawal stamp to front pastedown; ink withdrawal stamp to rear pastedown. Light creasing to some pages. Spine is tight; articles, advertising, and numerous black and white photographs are bright and clean. Gorgeous covers. A quality, heavy library binding protected these magazines well, and this copy appears to have been on the far back shelf in a dark corner of the school library. Magazines are well preserved, and are themselves are printed on high-quality, coated paper. Perfect armchair travelling, with a vintage twist! Articles on the growing popularity of surfing amongst Australians (Dec. 1931); Capturing Elephants in Central Africa; Grape Harvesting; Mexico's Cathedrals; Modern Bridge Building; Mt.
