Three very scarce Muggletonian pamphlets handsomely bound in a single volume, reflecting the ideology of the small Protestant Christian movement which was established in 1651. A collection of three very scarce later printings of seventeenth century Muggletonian pamphlets. The Muggletons were a small English religious sect founded by Lodowick Muggleton and John Reeve, who claimed to be the last prophets foretold in the Book of Revelation. Their beliefs included a rejected the Trinity, and the belief that God had a human form. The first of the three works in this volume is the 1753 printing of Lodowick Muggleton's 1673 work 'The Answer to William Penn, Quaker, his Book, entitled, The new Witnesses Proved old Hereticks'.
