More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.…

Hardcover. Zustand: Poor. First Edition. Blue cloth covers with gilt lettering to spine. Rear cover has almost come away from spine and has been repaired inside with clear tape. Top part of ffep torn away. Date of author's death has been written next to his name on title page. Letter 'C' written next to many ships' names on contents page and in text - I think this denotes the previous owner has 'spotted' these ships. Internally tightly bound and all pages intact - excellent reading copy or for information. Wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and inserted into jiffy bag.
