Jellicoe's signature, in pencil at the head of the first page, reads 'Jellicoe | AF'. The menu is made out in manuscript to 'Mr John Morland'. Nine champagnes are listed, with their vintages, with eleven suitably-grand courses. 'Cigarettes Ed. Laurens | Les spécialités sont expliquées par le Docteur de Pomiane. | Les vins sont commentés par le Docteur Ramain.' The 'Court Circular' in The Times of 1 and 15 January 1935 reported on the trip to Switzerland of Jellicoe and his wife, and their return.
