The land snail Theba pisana is recorded from droppings of the Stone Curlew (Burhinus oedicnemus) in the fields of Kibbutz Netzer Sereni, Israel. 3 pp., gr. 8.

The keyhole limpet, Fissurella impedimentum Cooke, from the Gulf of Suez, is poorly described in the literature. The syntypes of F. impedimentum are described and illustrated. Their preservation suggests that the form is from the raised shell beds of the Gulf of Suez. Capulina ruppelli var. barroni Newton is a junior synonym. 2 pp. + 1 pl., gr. 8.

A redescription of Terebra castigata Cooke, 1885 is given. A lectotype is selected from among the syntypes in the McAndrew collection of the University of Cambridge. Smaragdia abakionigraphis Drivas & Jay, 1989, originally described from Réunion Is., western Indian Ocean, is here reported from dredged material from Teluk Djakarta, Java, Indonesia. 2 pp., gr. 8.

Two species of the arcid genus Trisidos live in the Erythraean region, T. tortuosa (L., 1758) and T. semitorta (Lam., 1819). The former is already known to occur in the Gulf of Aden and the southern Red Sea. The presence of the latter near Aden is documented here. 1 pp., gr. 8.
