He conceived and led the 'Thank You Britain' fund in the 1960s, raising £96,000 (well over £1 million in todayÕs terms) within the Jewish refugee community from central Europe, for a scholarship fund and series of annual lectures at the British Academy. / Dorothy Trimble Tiffany Burlingham (1891Ð1979) was the daughter of artist Louis Comfort Tiffany, and the granddaughter of Charles Lewis Tiffany, founder of Tiffany & Co. She became an American child psychoanalyst and educator. A lifelong friend and partner of Anna Freud, Burlingham is known for her joint work with Freud on the analysis of children.
