The titlepage is counted in the preliminaries and is handsomely printed in red and black in both text and printer's device. There is also a Royal College of Surgeons Library blindstamp to titlepage and the next two leaves. Though missing the covers the book block is tight with the first two and last two gatherings glued into the spine. There are side notes throughout directing the reader to the cause of the illness, the cure and the prognosis etc. etc. Not a common book, only one on line for sale and it is missing pages, plus one sold at ABPC [in 1981].This italian author wrote several books but his most famous is the ARTE GYMNASTICA. 1 volume. Disbound.
