Hardback, 9 x 6 inches. In grey illustrated cloth cover with gilt to spine and front. Art Nouveau style decor. Top edge gilt. In very good condition. Some minor darkening and handling marks to cloth. Minor rubbing to corners. Some tanning to endpapers. Colour plates clean and bright. Pages clean and tight, very little foxing. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 248pp. With 75 colour plates and 20 colour chapter headings. Skech map at back. Beautifully ilustrated journey along the Thames as it was at the beginning of the 20th century.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. A lovely used, brown cloth hardback book, with gilt titles on front board. No dust jacket. The book is in good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Slight wear to edge of boards, corner edges bumped. Pen and ink inscription on first blank page, dated 1918. All pages intact, all pages, text and illustrations are in really good clean, readable order. The gorgeous colour plates are fabulous and depict amazing period costumes and proud, characters from that specific time in India, that were all painted by a very good artist. Its a well used book but still has so much to offer and deserves to be preserved for future generations.
