Two volumes, each 258 x 185 mm; printed wrappers; pp. 82 + (xxviii), [83-170] + (xx); several diagrammatic plates. Wrappers a little sunned, with ink stamp of 'Dr. A. Pijper's Laboratory', and chipped at extremities of backstrip in each case; laboratory ink stamps elsewhere; occasional fox spot. Good. An important work on the occurrence of malarial mosquitoes in South Africa. "The South African Institute for Medical Research in Johannesburg commenced its existence in 1912. Its 'Publications' dating from 1913 include a considerable amount of work on veterinary and medical entomology. .
