Zustand: Very Good. The original dust jacket cover art and complete set of 56 interior illustrations. The dust jacket cover art consists of one color wash drawing mounted on artists' board with a tissue paper overlay. The 56 interior illustrations include vignettes, half-page, full-page, and double-page drawings: most are mounted on artists' boards measuring between 8" x 10" and 11" x 14" (including some smaller and larger size boards); 6 are not mounted. All have light scattered penciled measurements and production notes in the margins, some of the mounted illustrations are lightly toned, overall very good. Accompanied by a near fine ex-library copy of the book in near fine dust jacket for comparison. Sechrist and Woolsey's classic compendium of Easter themes and stories are magically brought to life by McCorkell's charming and accomplished suite of drawings.

The set includes the original cover art: one large color wash drawing mounted on artists' board (17" x 20"), and all 28 full-page interior line drawings mounted on artists' boards (measuring about 8" x 12"). A few small production measurements and annotations in the margins, moderate toning to the illustrations (a smooth patina from the mounting glue), overall very good. An anthology of favorite stories illustrated with McCorkell's quirky drawings. The set includes one unpublished drawing for April Fool's Day ("killed" by the publisher). Accompanied by two copies of the 1968 revised edition of the book: one with McCorkell's complete color design on the front cover and spine, and a trimmed ex-library copy printed directly on the cloth.
