Pictorial DJ done in classic James Bond (the spy) style, with handgun atop feathers. Some wear at the edges, but overall in good condition. Title page dated 1966, as is copyright page. 62 pages. This copy is signed and inscribed on the half-title page, 'to Mopsy and Tom, from the author of 9/62 of this book, with 62/62 love, Ken Parkes.' Parkes is thanked in the Acknowledgements of the book for allowing Mrs. Bond to reprint his essay, 'On Her Majesty's Ornithological Service' in this book. A neat association copy of a scarce book. This volume comes from the collection of Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, who was a passionate book collector as well as a renowned biologist.
