Walter Marchetti (1931 -2015) war ein italienischer Komponist, Performer und Installationskünstler. Er gilt als Pionier der interaktiven und konkreten Musik. Er gründete mit Cages Unterstützung und gemeinsam mit Juan Hidalgo in Madrid (nach anderen Angaben in Mailand) die Gruppe Zaj für experimentelle Musik und Performancekunst.
