Original pictorial limp boards. = One of 1000 copies of the original quarto edition, being no. 250. Published during the second World War and therefore not common. The full colour illustrations are of a highly artistic quality. At the end it states that the print was finished on 15 octobre 1943 by F. Cahour, the engraved illustrations in three colours by André Collot (1897-1976) "avec son nouveau procédé de gravure directe et enrichies de pochoirs à la poupée par M. Beaufumé on the presses of Ateliers Duval in Paris. This edition should not be confused with the simple octavo edition. A near mint copy.
